Kevin is a senior DBA consultant and performs database upgrades and migrations, performance management, backup and recovery and data replication work at client sites on most of the major platforms supported by Oracle. He has presented at IOUG previously and at local Oracle user groups on Multitenant, Database New Features, Performance Tuning, Oracle RMAN and SQLT. Kevin has taught Oracle classes on GoldenGate, Backup and Recovery, Database New Features, RAC, Performance Tuning and Enterprise Manager.
Kevin Gilpin
An Oracle Database professional with over 20 years experience, Michael has been honored as an Oracle Ace and achieved both the Oracle Certified Database Professional (OCP) 9i and 11g (OCP) and Oracle Database 10g Real Application Clusters Certified Expert, in addition to several Oracle Partner specializations. Michael has also contributed to Rich Niemiec’s Oracle Database 11g Release 2 and 12c Performance and Tuning Tips and Techniques Book. A frequent presenter at local Oracle Users Groups and at Open Word, RMOUG and IOUG Collaborate, his experience includes database performance tuning, database high availability, database disaster recovery, system design, and system development.
Michael Messina
Sridhar started his career with Oracle in 1991 as a developer. Over the years he progressed to become a DBA and an architect. Currently he runs the National Oracle Database Infrastructure Consulting Practice for Rolta|Advizex (formerly known as TUSC). Sridhar’s work as a technologist has been recognized by Oracle with partner awards on multiple occasions. His specific areas of interest and expertise include infrastructure architecture, database performance tuning, high availability/disaster recovery and business continuity planning, Oracle RAC and Clustering, and the Oracle engineering systems.
